Captree Clam is a hidden gem that I’m so thankful I found! They have the highest quality seafood that is reasonably priced! Owned by an incredible family with friendly and knowledgeable staff! I LOVE that they care about where their fish is sourced— they often have top quality, wild caught options which is hard to find anywhere else! Captree Clam is now the only place I get my seafood!!!

This place never disappoints! Friendly staff and great selection.
Never had better quality scallops before from a fish market & the oysters are just incredible. I had fresh blue point oysters for my holiday party this year & there were many people asking me where I got them from as that they were the most delicious oysters they ever had.

Mostly meant for commercial businesses and fishermen but they do have a small store front for the general public. I went there to try some dry aged fish, wound up with dry aged toro (tuna belly) very different but very good. Worth checking out if you like fresh and frozen seafood.

Professionally run, staff is amazing, & very knowledgeable of there products, place is very clean & pricing is spot on! The Quality of there products are as fresh as you can get!! Love there dry aged fish processing ,only company on the island that I know has one of these . Never thought I would be having salmon/

This place is an absolute gem! High quality seafood which includes unique items not available at an average fish market (dry-aged salmon and many kinds of oysters being among my favorite). Customer service and shopping experience second to none. Highly recommend !

Captree Clam has the most delightfully fresh seafood. I’ve been a customer for years and I have never been disappointed. As a matter of fact- I opened a can of their lump crabmeat Christmas Eve day- and I had to stop cooking so I could call them and tell them how fabulously fresh and sweet the crabmeat was! Their clams are always amazing! The king crab claws- out of this world, as are the sea scallops! Their customer service is great. Once you try them- you’ll be hooked.

They are walk in retail customer friendly!

Captree Clam is also a large wholesale seafood supplier to restaurants and businesses. Retail customers, no matter how small an order, get the same attention, service and premium product that fancy seafood restaurants get.

Even though the name is “Captree Clam” they carry a full range of fresh and frozen seafood.

This is a great place to get some fresh local shellfish, a nice fresh fillet for dinner, or supply a big holiday seafood bash!

Oh yea, they also do catering and will even shuck oysters or clams to go!

One cool thing about Captree Clam, you will see baymen and oyster farmers unloading and delivering their harvests. Right off the boat!

Wonderful experience with buying some oysters, little neck clams and chowder clams. In the past , I got some that were all mud. You can tell the new owners put pride in their product because all of the shellfish was clean, similar sized, all alive and all absolutely delicious! We will be back to visit often this summer for more seafood.
