Great market with wide variety of sushi options. The back has a counter with several tables. There were beauty supplies, snacks, frozen items, refrigerator items. Lots of fish choices. I wish we lived closer to visit more often. I've had the ice cream in the cone in Seattle. I was happy to find something similar in the frozen section!

I love this little Japanese grocery store/sushi spot! There are other similar shops around Michigan, but often they don’t have enough selection, or I find their service to be a bit off-putting, however at One World Market I feel welcome. Some reviewers say the prices are high, but the prices seem fair to me. For such a modest place, they have a great selection of various types of fish as well as all the essentials. I always find an excuse to visit!

手づくりのしめ鯖を買ってみた。脂が乗ってて、もう少し酢の気があればとは思ったけれど美味しかったです。

調味料はやっぱり日本で使用していた物が良いね！明星中華三昧味噌在庫があったので購入。やっぱり美味しいからね。こっちのワサビって、塩っ辛いよね。日本のも塩って入ってる？

お鍋の材料で欲しい物を購入。日本語で対応されるとホッとしちゃいます。Thanks!

The photos others have shared make this place seem huge, but it isn't. IT is a convenient store sized place. Very Japanese. Lots of freshest and sushi grade fish in the grocery area. I had also made an assumption that there was a big Asian food court--very wrong. There are a lot of already made sushi items. The made to order sushi bar is basically a hole in the wall. Not necessarily a bad thing, but the sushi is sliced very thin and doesn't stick to the rice. However, the miso soup was very hot and good. No alcohol is allowed.. no saki!! No one making the sushi was Japanese, let along Asian which made me sad. I hate when foreigners who haven't had the proper training get the job of making sub-par sushi. This is a great store if you live and Asian lifestyle or have the knowledge to enjoy and use what they sell. The sushi bar is not worth it at all. We got a Supreme Platter.. paid $40 for that, miso soup, and bottle of water. They do have bowls and other rolls. Maybe you should try it at least once, but I won't be going back, considering it took me 6 hours to get there.
