There is something about shopping here that I like. It is a markedly different experience than shopping at one of the bigger stores nearby.

First of all, it is not just that the place is almost never crowded. The people who shop here all seem to be very...well..."pleasant", maybe? People smile, and everyone is very polite. I typically encounter older folks and parents with young children when I visit. Even the cashiers seem more authentically human. It is sometimes so sparsely populated, and everyone is so nice, it can be a little Twilight Zone-y.

Second, and perhaps more significantly, they have the best donuts around, especially the apple fritters, which have something of a cult following. Even good a day or two later, especially if you warm them up in the oven (and if you add a scoop of ice cream with that hot fritter, you will not be disappointed). Best cream filled Long Johns to be had.

Sometimes shopping at other big grocery stores can be a bewildering ordeal, you won't have that experience here, and the box of donuts (and at ten bucks for a dozen you wont find a better deal) you bring home will be a great reminder of the experience.

Nice store. Check-out employees have NO Personality, not friendly and give the impression that they HATE being there!! It's really not that hard to be friendly to your Customers and act like you care!

Tom's is a very nice market. It's easy to see from the road and easy to get to.
The store is always very clean. You can tell the employees take great care of that store!

The employees are all vey pleasant, friendly and gracious. They have a decent selection of items, and while I like the supermarkets too, Toms selection doesn't overwhelm your senses with 15 different varieties of the same product.
There is a terrific meat section with reasonably priced meats (& it appears a butcher is there on site) and the produce section is also nicely stocked and maintained.
All groceries are fresh and the deli foods I've tried are delicious.
Prices are fair, and even if they are slightly higher than the big box conglomerate supermarkets, Tom's is worth going to because you're supporting a local business that gives back to the community and treats employees fairly.

Great place to shop. The Owner and Managment make it a great place for the family.
The prices might be a little higher so they can keep the doors open, but it is so nice to slowly walk around the store to shop. They generally have what you want or can get it if you ask. Easy to fly in and pick up what you want or just walk around slowly and shop.
The Management is big into giving to different organizations and schools. It is hard to compete with big stores, but there is still a place for this great store. Thank you, we know how hard you work.

I used to LOVE going to Tom's to shop. But everytime I do, the awful smell of sewage hits me like a ton of bricks as I walk in. I went in for blueberries the other day. $7.99 for a pint!! That is CRAZY! Staff is unkind. Bathrooms are dirty. This store must be hanging by a thread. They need to do better if they want to keep their doors open.
