My wife and I had a late lunch at the Wharf Express. I ordered the loaded fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and the BBQ bacon wrapped shrimp with smoked Gouda cheese grits and smashed potatoes. My wife ordered the Wharf shrimp tacos and the smoked Gouda grits. Everything was delicious and brought out in a timely manner. The waitress, Brianne, took orders, brought out food, refilled drinks and cleaned tables by herself and was phenomenal. It was a great Dino g experience!

A surprising treat in the charming Bannerman Plaza area. The food was excellent, and a new in-training manager took care of us. We got an order that was a slight variation/deviation from one of their specials due to dietary needs, and they were accommodating to the change. The place is very clean, even the bathrooms. We were looking for a restaurant with table service but were convinced to eat there due to the quality of the food and it did not disappoint.

Blackened grouper, cheese grits, coleslaw & hush puppies. Also had fried shrimp, coleslaw & hush puppies. All selections were excellent!

Restaurant was busy but not slow. It happened to be homecoming dance night for a local high school. It may have appeared to be a little pricy ($28) for the blackened grouper but my fish was really really good and so was the gouda cheese grits and coleslaw with a dressing made with buttermilk, mayonnaise, salt & pepper. Wife had fried shrimp, garlic green beans and hush puppies.

Total bill with tip was $63. We will be back soon.

This little jewel would be right at home on the coast. Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, and the food was excellent. We highly recommend the blackened shrimp, the cheese grits, and the banana pudding.

We had an early dinner tonight and it was excellent.
Beverly is such a pleasure to talk with and always has the best recommendations.
Yolanda was very busy but takes time to make sure you have everything you need.
We shared the fried mushrooms and had a delicious bowl of The Wharf shrimp and grits and the Wharf shrimp platter.
Everything was delicious.

Amazing Staff!! Best fish sandwich in Town!! Melts in your mouth! Service was better than any gourmet restaurant. Red beans were also delicious. I was amazed by the presentation as I haven't been in years. Plates were really cool. Can't wait to come back!!
