Driving back to Tally from St Mark's Lighthouse we chose the Driftwood in Woodsville for its seafood served in family-style aesthetic. Glad we did. Was an authentic fish menu served humbly, seemed to be a local favorite. Great food! We had bacon wrapped shrimp, cheese grits, hush puppies and crab cake dinner. All very good! Generous portions.

I intentional went on the off time, after 2:00, so that I didn’t go while they were slammed for lunch.
My crab claws were so salty and way over cooked. I ordered slaw with my oyster basket. They brought fries. My server did bring the slaw and told me to keep the fries. That would have been nice but the fries were so cold that I just couldn’t. My oysters were so over cooked they tasted like fried chicken livers. How?
So disappointed. $39 with a $10 tip for a server who never asked how my food was.
I won’t go back.

Was a solid meal. Great seafood. Fresh and tasty. Had Blackened Red Snapper and fried shrimp. Yummy cheese grits. Friendly staff. Very special evening served. Thank you!!!

I saw reviews of this place, but with a different name. This was our first time going to The Driftwood Family Restaurant. We had a party of 7 and there were only two waitresses. Both young ladies were very attentive to us and did a great job. The food was really good and the prices were reasonable. As you can see from the photos, I left nothing on my plate. Thank you for a great meal.

Grouper was fantastic! Good size pieces and sandwiches. Chicken tenders were delicious with perfectly cooked white meat. French fries were hot, salad was fresh. Servers were polite and had great customer service. Tons of seating. Lots of parking.

The seafood here is excellent, minus the crab cakes. We love the selection of fish that was avaliable as well as platters. Our server was great and very attentive. The only negative feedback I have which isn't more negative that a suggestion, is add fresh oysters, blue and snow crab as well as dessert to your menu. I had hoped these items would be here but they were not even options on the menu.

The restaurant is opened under new management and a new name. The tables aren't fancy, but now it's very clean. The food is very good as one would expect for a local seafood restaurant.

I definitely like eating here now that it's with new owners and a restaurant name. Onion rings are our favorite. Still needs a little improvements but on their way.
