I am not happy with my first time visit to Stroke’s Seafood. I ordered over the phone with a guy names Jack and asked for a snow crab tray and lobster tray, he told me my total was $80.12. He also said they are only taking cash which came to not be true. When I got my order I noticed it was not in a tray and a carry out dish, so I trust everything was fine. When I looked on the kiosk he rung me up for mussels for $15 and extra shrimp $10 and some change….. the order speaks for itself I’ll insert pics and yes I did call back once I got a chance to sit and eat my food I was DISAPPOINTED!!! There’s like barnacle on my crab legs and it’s sooo small I was charged $10 for extra shrimp and got like 6 shrimp… like this is ridiculous and when I called in Jack didn’t even show any sympathy.. Oh yeah and the food tasted old and the eggs were a brownish color and tasted old and over cooked but Jack said he cooked everything fresh. I DO NOT RECOMMEND A FOOD PLACES LIKE THIS

The atmosphere is amazing for a neighborhood food dive. It's one of those diamonds in the ruff, so I thought. The service could have been better. He was pleasant but called you to pick up your food instead of bring it to your table. The customer service from the owner sucked, very disappointing, because customer service is everything. I now see why this place isn't packed. The garlic butter is decent. I can make better, being an ex crab cooker, but I enjoyed it on my potatoes. I had so much hope on the ride over and really wish I had been treated better because I love to support my people.

I may not be able to eat seafood, but Strokes Seafood still has something amazing for everyone! The garlic chicken dinner was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. The service was also outstanding; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic meal and wonderful service, even if seafood isn’t on your plate!

Scoperto grazie alle ottime recensioni, anche perché altrimenti non ci saremmo mai andati: il posto è in un quartiere un po’ isolato e se non sai che è aperto potrebbe sembrare chiuso ed un po’ dissestato. Così con un po’ di incertezza abbiamo ordinato shrimp combo e snow crab combo. La combo include: pannocchia, uovo, patata, salsiccia. Il tutto è condito con una deliziosa salsina creola. Pazzesca!! Da leccarsi i baffi. È valsa l’attesa di 15 min in un dehor un poco da sistemare. C’è anche menù bambini ed abbiamo preso gamberetti fritti e patatine. Assolutamente consigliato!! (Meglio take away). Abbiamo speso 48 dollari (no bevande).
Ps: siamo tornati una seconda sera a prendere le stesse cose ☺️.

Everything is cooked fresh to order but the wait is worth it .
They definitely cook with attention to detail ..everything was seasoned to perfection with enough of each portion to satisfy any appetite.
The outside area is a nice touch where you can relax comfortably to eat, listen to music or watch the game .

Flavor is king here. I had the snow crab dinner with added shrimp and it was amazing! The butter sauce that is over the corn and seafood is the secret weapon. Everything cooked perfectly. My wife had the mozzarella and wings. Sticks were good but the wings were fried to perfection. And flavor was on point, Definitely recommend!

Googled “fish sandwich near me” and scrolled past the chain restaurants until we found this place. A local owned and operated small business - what I really love to support.

Food was made to order. And it was really good as well. Stuck with simple: fish sandwich and fries (seasoned). I’ll be back when I get an urge for seafood.
