The staff of the Star Fish Market is unfailingly kind and competent, a terrific combination. They can answer any question. The store is very well appointed with all sorts of things epicurean. Most of all, I trust them to sell me quality seafood, when that can be a murky commodity. I recommend them as highly as I can and hope they're in business in Guilford for a long time.

This is the best fish market with the most delicous fresh fish. Every time I cook fish from Starfish Market, I am overwhelmed with the fine quality and delicous flavor. Also, the staff is very friendly.

Loved to shop there when we lived in CT in the 80’s & 90’s. Store was impeccably kept, glass enclosed case displaying the fish was always artfully arranged, they had the best fish and the original owner was a talented chef… he’d tell me tasty different ways to prepare the fish. His first name I believe was Frank but cannot remember his Italian last name… anybody remember it?
