Walked in Sunday night. Horrible band playing far too loud outside on their patio No receptionist in sight, 5 minutes go by and she finally appears from the patio. We ask to be seated as far from the noise as possible. Unfortunately their patio door and bar window are open Can barely hear anything but the noise. Order drinks, Shrimp Scampi & Crawfish Etouffee. The drinks arrive followed by the food, so not a long wait which is a plus The Etouffee is Gumbo poured over fried rice...ugh. Clearly the cook has no idea I have had their Etouffee before and it was passable. The Shrimp Scampi is "Garlicky" as per its name on the menu, a little too much so. Our waitress never returned to check on anything. At one point the receptionist cum manager, she wasnt on my previous visits, appears and I told her the Etouffee was subpar. Her response that I must have liked since I ate it, mistakes me being hungry for enjoying it She claims her "Executive" chef is from New Orleans. Uh huh, if so he is a "couyon". The awful music, inattentive service, subpar food means that will be my last meal there.

We went on Wednesday night because it's prime rib night. There is no entertainment that night but there is every other night. Got the King prime rib and shared it and that was still almost too much. It was very good. Almost everything else they have is fish and it is extremely good. Our fellow diners had the muscles. They really love the seasoned boil that it was in and they are muscle experts. Full bar and different special drinks every night. What's with the? I love this special spicy lemonade

First time going here last night with my boyfriend. Our waitress, Teresa M, was absolutely wonderful. She knew the specials for the night in detail, and she even recommended the fish fry for my boyfriend. I got the boil special (crab legs, lobster, shrimp, 2 very large potatoes, corn on the cob, and a decent size portion of corn bread) and asked to add in mussels and sausage…so good in the garlic white wine sauce. It was so much food I ended having to bring home leftovers, and we took dessert to go (key lime pie and peanut butter brownie). As someone who enjoys seafood, it’s very hard to find a place that will do a boil at a reasonable price AND it not be a chain restaurant. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to support more locally run and family friendly restaurants. 10/10 would come back, and with friends/family.

Food was great had salmon and the peach salad and hush puppies. Atmosphere was laid back and relaxed very casual we ate outside it was a great day for that and there was plenty of shade. Service was good, food came out quick.It is tucked in a corner but it is a hidden gem

This was my first time eating at Shuck and Ale. I drove by the location but only recently noticed the restaurant, I think Goodwill gets all the attention. The food was delicious. Louisiana style food, low country boils and po boys. We had fried oysters, dirty rice and cheese grits. They also have a wide variety of draft beer and wine.

Loved everything, service was great, food was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. We try to go on Tuesday or Wednesday to stay away from the crowds. Enjoyed the free desert as well for Fat Tuesday. Missed the happy hour, would be nice to see this go until 7 or all day for that matter.

Found on google and what an amazing gem. The waitress and host were so friendly. We got there about an hour before they closed and had an amazing meal. Everything was fresh, cooked perfectly and seasoned well.
