The shrimp guy is awesome. We bought seafood from him for the first time this weekend. He travels all over the state and sells out of his freezer trailer. We bought his sushi grade tuna, the crawfish pie, and warm water lobster tails.

The crawfish pie was phenomenal! The tuna was great, and the lobster tails were great to fair. One tail was perfect, and the second (larger) one had a very thin shell with meat that seemed soft even after cooking on the grill. I will say the shrimp guy seems to be an upstanding merchant, and is well know and respected in the Apollo Beach/Ruskin area. He has solid long term customer relationships, and I’m confident he will make it right. He will be back this weekend Super Bowl Sunday with bags of live crawfish, and he’ll be boiling crawfish.

We’re so glad we met The Shrimp Guy, and will definitely buy more seafood next time.

Did some business with The Shrimp Guy again today He was boiling live crawfish this morning in Ruskin, and my wife and I bought 15# to take home for Saturday lunch. They were some kinda good cher! The Shrimp Guy does live crawfish right.

Amazing service and delicious fresh seafood. I was running late because my daughter didn’t want to get in her car seat and he had no problem waiting for me. The price is more than fair and the oysters I bought are delicious.

Would rate a zero if I could. We planned extensively with him to pick up a bushel of blue crabs for my birthday. Steamed for pickup. He never showed up so we sat and waiting for 1.5 hours.
Also terrible communication, he wasn’t answering calls or texts until we called from a different number 🤯

Very fair prices and very accommodating to his customers. He is transparent with prices and treats his customers fairly. We, along with many of our friends and family, have purchased seafood from him numerous times and we will continue to do so especially with crawfish season right around the corner.

I’d give The shrimp guy ten stars if I could. I highly recommend doing business with Joe. He’s dedicated to his craft with the best seafood game around. Very easy to work with and goes out of his way to please his customers. If you love fresh seafood at a great price you’re in the right place!! T
