Amazing customer service, super fresh seafood, and live enormous crabs! They’ve got the biggest crabs in the area, live and fresh/frozen. We heard they’re adding a beer garden and food truck soon! We’ll plan to be back for yummy seafood and beers soon!

We got the King Crab legs for an addition to our Christmas dinner. We also tried some smoked salmon. Both were delicious They have a variety of fish and seafood and even a wine bar. They have live crabs too. The items we purchased were very delicious we will be returning for more.

Not the place you want to visit. First of all, customer service is non-existent. The guy who looked like a manager is rude and unprofessional. Also, the staff seem very poorly informed about the products they are selling or they are knowingly selling bad seafood. Second, the pre-cooked King crab legs were yellow inside and inedible. How can you sell such a bad product to customers?! On top of that, the meat sticks to the shell, which is not supposed to happen! The meat is stringy and feels like it’s been sitting in the freezer for years. Very poorly set-up store, lots of frozen seafood and nothing fresh, except their “freshly” cooked King crab legs that I bought. Not sure what is so “fresh” about them…

Apparently this is a wholesale joint that recently made the transition to retail. One of the owners said they had been in business for 30 years and this year decided to sell the the public. Amazing couple that helped us. The crab was expensive but I checked around and it’s not more expensive than anywhere else and it’s FRESH! As in alive when you buy it, if you wanted. I went to another place and the crab was “packed” 4 days ago supposedly. I am making GUMBO... if I’m paying premium prices, I’m getting the best I can. And the owner even had some fun with my kids and one of the HUGE live crabs! Let us touch them and educated us on it’s anatomy. Surprising trip, in a great way.

Make sure you hold on to what you picked up from the freezer all the way to the cashier. We bought a 5 lbs party pack that looked very different when we got home. I saw the guy switched our original box with another box from the fridge but I didn’t think much of it. But we gotten some very bad crabs…looked like a bunch of left over bits and pieces compared to the first box we’d gotten.

Seattle seafood center (Custom Crab) has the best variety of crab Seattle has to offer, you can get your order cooked for you and watch the whole process before your eyes as they steam the crab to your liking. They have Seattle professionals like Kellen Rowe (Seattle Sounders) and others backing their new addition of a brewery/event center. If you enjoy eating like a King & Queen this is your place. Competitive pricing and wholesales to Pike Place, as they directly ship from international venues. If you could give a verified blue check mark to any place it would be this one.

We stopped in here on a whim on our way home from Seattle. Miguel was so helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy. We walked out a bag of colossal snow crab clusters, two boxes of green mussels, and a box of Alaskan dungeness crab clusters.
