So I was going to Maryland but was asked to pick up crabs for dinner. Went to Seafood USA to buy them. Was pleasantly surprised.. beautiful and delicious steamed crabs were available right out of the pot for an exceptionally reasonable price . The owner threw in 2 extras! Best crabs if the season!! Love this place❤️💗

I used to love this place up until recently! I bought Two dozen of cooked blue crabs from this place. The crabs were previously cooked obviously a few days before they sold them or they left them out in the heat because they were spoiled. They smelled awful once I brought them in my house. I will never get anything from this place again.

Hill's Seafood seasons their blue crabs way better because the crab meat tastes better.
Seafood USA all the seasoning is on the outside...crab meat tasted bland.

Stay away!!! Shopping here is a dice game. I called asking if they had mussels in stock which they said they did. Unfortunately when I arrived a lot of the mussels they had in the display where opened which is not good. Eating open mussels is a guarantee to get violently sick. The clerk said they had more mussels in the back and she assured me she would not put those in my bag. As I shopped around I trusted her word. When I got home I had to throw the whole bag away as more than half were open and the whole bag was slimy.

Beyond Disappointed they would pass off such poor quality for the price they are charging.
Be very aware as expect to get sick eating such low quality seafood. The food handling practice here is less than sub par. Stay away !!!

Caught a really bad case of food poisoning from here in 2018, I lost about 10 pounds over the course of 2 days of being sick. Could not walk for nearly a week. All I had was a call in order of fried shrimp and fries. Never again.

Bought a shrimp platter here for Thanksgiving. Have been here many times and had great food, but these were underdone and fishy. I called and asked for a refund or store credit and the person on the phone said “If I refund people who aren’t happy, I won’t make any money.” So - it’s a gamble. It might be good, but if they don’t care if it’s not and they’re not going to do anything to make it better. Quite a bold strategy for a brick and mortar specialty food store.

Although we have a well known fish market much closer, we go here as they always have good selection, decent prices and everything has always been great! Service is top notch too! Warm days even the oysters are shucked &packed well in ice so they're cold & delicious upon arriving at our destinations. Best Ahi tuna! So glad we found them and no more & disappointing seafood buys elsewhere.
