Good products with deal price. Matsutake are very good and fresh. But as mentioned by others, there is no customer service. I made purchase and waited 2 weeks for picking up notifications. I contacted them during this period, but no response. I almost thought it was a scam website.

I was pretty excited when I came across this site due to my brother and I are foodies. For my brother's birthday I ordered a jidori chicken and miniature crabs. I read on their site that they have to order the crabs and once they receive them, they will ship them out. Not a problem for me to wait. I received the chicken and figured I would receive the crab in one to two weeks. Several weeks later I received an email that they were refunding $55.25 with no explanation as to why. I asked about getting a refund for the other half of the shipping. Was told sorry that is their flat rate shipping. I told them that I should have been given the option to select a replacement. Their response was sorry they did not do that. Their response should have been to honor allowing me to order a replacement. I would not have paid $50 shipping for only a chicken. This was very disappointing because I thought I had found a great site to order unique items.

Edited review - Regalis did refund part of my shipping but only after I posted a review with one star. It should not come to that. I really wish they would have done better up front. If they had, they would have been receiving more orders from my brother and myself.

Purchased some amazing food from them and when it was delayed they did the right thing and resent overnight. Made it right and put the customer first - I'll use them from now on. Very high quality products, great customer service - only downside is they can't control the shippers - so give yourself some room if you need it within a narrow window. Have nothing but good things to say about the interactions and the responses they provided to keep me updated.

I selected this company based on my search online. I ordered a gift for a very dear friend from Kazakhstan, who is the “mother” of my two chihuahuas. She tells me stories of her brother returning from Siberia with huge jars of the best black caviar, so I wanted to get her the best. The package arrived two days late, as a result of an error by UPS. Regalis replaced the order, and was incredibly helpful in the process. Absolutely worth every penny. Now to order a gift for my mother for Christmas!

I don't post reviews that often, really only when something went horribly wrong, or I feel like the company did something great. After reading some of their reviews online I was a little worried that I was somehow getting scammed. So I reached out to them via email--got a very quick response. They were also very accomodating when it came to doing two separate shipments as there was an item that was going to take a while longer to be in stock. So all in all, had a very good customer service interaction with Regalis. Thanks!

To their credit, they profusely apologized for the errors below and did just about everything possible to retain me as a customer short of time travel. Leaving this at 3 stars instead of lower thanks to the efforts of the owner.

What happened:

Failed to pack and ship half of a $1000 order during the busiest week of the year. Missed 3 of the 4 items (crab legs, caviar, duck breast), which were the core of a party menu I was serving. The other big ticket items they did manage to ship were not the correct weight, and some other items were incorrectly swapped. They had no idea of any of this until I contacted them. I got a piece of pristine A5 and a bunch of accompaniments for the half of my order that didn't ship.

A fuller story:

Shipping delays on their end meant that my items were not shipped until the day before the party. Their website says 1-3 days processing time, but the email confirmation said 3-5, which is misleading. Still, I was in constant contact with them throughout the week to ensure my items were coming in time for the party. That was all smooth.

I got a refund for what didn't ship, as well as the weight issues, and they sent me some truffle oil and jam with a handwritten note apologizing.

If you have mission-critical needs, especially if you are a business not in the NYC area, consider your other options. And look, I get it, "first world problem", and it was the busiest week of the season, and some temp staff went too fast and screwed up. But when a vendor claims to be the best, flaunts the stars under their belt, charges market price for things, and they screw up this badly, it's not just okay. If they'd given me notice on Tuesday that they were out of stock on stuff, okay, fine, I can make alterations. But when half of your order shows up 4 hours before an event..well..

They offered to ship the missing items overnight, but it would have been after the event.

If you are still going to make an order for mission critical items and the timing is tight, have them take a photo of every item going into your box as they pack it, I guess. They did try to reach out and make it right, which I appreciate, but I'm not personally into that.
