Moreover, Phil expedited my ring because we had a change of plans and my proposal was coming a week earlier than anticipated!

I worked with Phil to design an engagement ring from scratch. From the start, both Phil and Marvin were extremely respectful, transparent, and just plain pleasant to work with. After describing what I was interested in and reviewing some options, I was able to get a much larger and nicer ring than what I had seen at the same price point with other jewelers as Phil was able to secure the main stone at a more cost-effective price. On top of that, the level of service I received throughout the process was absolutely 5-star -- attentive and available (which was even more valuable to me as this was my first major jewelry purchase). The final product was absolutely beautiful - I know I will return to Philmar for any and all jewelry needs in the future.

My husband purchased my engagement ring from Phil and we, also, purchased our wedding bands from him.

Phil is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and flexible. If there is something you’re not finding in his extensive and stunning array of jewels and gems, he will make your custom piece and your vision come to life as a reality.

While I can’t speak directly to the engagement ring process, as that was all my husband and Phil’s doing, I can say that the two of them designed a truly gorgeous ring as one of the most meaningful pieces of jewelry I will ever own. The stones, the setting, the size- everything was perfect.

As for our wedding bands, Phil had the patience of a saint, helping my husband and I try on countless styles together until we found our perfect bands. In fact, I even chose TWO bands to style as stackables with my engagement ring. With Phil’s fair pricing for the exceptional quality of his product, we were luckily able to do so.

Also, not to mention, Phil’s just a good time! He allowed me to play dress up with some of the more elaborate pieces from his offerings when going in secretly to have my husband’s band engraved. With Phil being so conveniently located and centralized in the city, it was so easy to get to and from our appts with him from wherever in the city we happened to be.

If your looking for the best quality and the very best service to go along with it, I’d say the decision to reach out or visit with Phil at Philmar Jewelers is a NO BRAINER!!!
