Family atmosphere. Service was good and didn't take too long. Food was delicious and portions were good.. just didnt care for the collards. Had the grouper stuffed with crab and the blackened grouper. The fish was good, not over cooked. First time here and will certainly come back.

Pricey but gets a decent amount. I don't know if it's because they were busy it only saw the waitress three times. Parking was tight and busy. It was only 6pm. Food was good. Mostly fried food. Batter isn't greasy. Will probably come again.

We had a delicious family dinner there. I had the fried oysters which were fantastic. My husband had fried shrimp and it was nicely breaded and they gave
him a substantial portion. My granddaughter had the children's chicken tenders and fries and she certainly enjoyed them. The other family members had grilled shrimp and fried catfish. Everything was very tasty and reasonably priced.

This is one of the gems of Gainesville. I'm from Maryland we take our seafood seriously. This place was such a nice surprise when I first ate there and has continued to deliver ever since. The food has always been amazing. I've tended to stay towards white fish but friends I've gone out with have all had great food no matter what they've ordered. The space itself is nice and the staff have always been friendly. There are times when things are busy and you need to a wait a bit but the staff are always kind and apologetic. Definitely worthwhile trying out.

I believe they may be under new management, this place used to be fabulous, and on our most recent trip our food comes out cold, cold mashed potatoes on a hot plate. We both ordered scallops and both came cold like the salad. Manager offer to correct it, took our plates and came back with hot scallops and COLD smashed potatoes again. Do not recommend, Manager not friendly.

Amazing food and super friendly service. Everything was amazing. We had brunch and wow. Everything was great but the French Toast served with the hot honey chicken was off the charts. Stuffed Shrimp and Gator tail apps were a meal by themselves. If your on this side of Gainesville this is a must try. Will definitely be back.

Driving through town, we found this place online. My husband wanted fish and chips. I'm from south Florida so I was a bit skeptical about seafood inland, but this place did not disappoint. My server Jessica really knew what she was talking about when it came to recommendations. Keep up the good work. We will be back next time we visit the school.
