Omg. We found this place thanks to fellow Google reviews and are so happy we did. The seafood is super fresh, giant pieces, and the shoestring fries are to die for. The cook talked to us and we got the scallop chowder before leaving. I normally do not like a lot of chowders but this melted in your mouth. Please come out and try this local business. We will definitely be back.

We found this place by accident but we were glad we did! The seafood is fresh and ingredients are simple. I had a crab roll instead of a lobster roll because it was much more affordable - it was delicious! And the fries were thin-cut and perfect! All 5 of us enjoyed our meal! This is an interesting restaurant where you order at the counter, get your drinks from the cooler, pay... and they bring your meal to you. We sat outside because it was a gorgeous day! Unfortunately, a belligerent mother was yelling at her child the whole time we were there - it nearly ruined our time. However, one of the staff came out and tried to cool the situation down so I applaud the effort there👌 There is a seafood market here, as well. Wish we didn't live so far away because those tuna steaks were calling our name!

What a gem! We found this spot while road-tripping through Maine. The owner catches his own fish, so everything is incredibly fresh. We had the best lobster roll of our lives here. We also tried their chowder (thick and full of fish), fish tacos (very juicy), and haddock sandwich (fried to perfection). We’ll definitely be back!

I’m from out of town and was craving a lobster roll. My coworkers and I were in the charming town of Portsmouth NH. The restaurant is in Kittery Maine, which is only 10 minutes from our location. It was very easy drive, just over the bridge. It’s a seat-yourselves established or you can take out. It’s super casual with indoor and outdoor seating. It’s clean, with a boardwalk style service. BTW - My lobster roll was exceptional!

We met the fisherman that runs the place. Super nice guy that really takes pride in his restaurant. I highly recommend it!

This is the real deal for fresh seafood. I brought a friend visiting from the south and she loved her lobster roll and fish chowder. The owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming. Will be bringing anyone who wants a lobster roll here in the future.

So glad we found this gem. We enjoyed the lobster rolls, shrimp, scallops & clam chowder. You would never know the batter was gluten/free as it was perfection! The lobster rolls were piled high with meat, the clam chowder was very hearty & even their French fries are prepared fresh (sliced on site). As we talked to the owner/captain who catches the seafood, it was quickly apparent how much this group values providing only the freshest, high-quality seafood & it was certainly spot-on. Thank you New England Fishmonger for an amazing meal & experience! -customers from Tennessee
