Beautiful hidden gem. Stumbled upon this little cozy spot on accident, and it was perfect. Great knowledgeable bartender and top shelf drinks. Even got samples of drinks.
The decor is so cozy and intimate.
I will visit it again!

Came in with a friend for a cocktail and chat and was pleasantly surprised. The decor, cleanliness & prompt service was great. The menu was easy to read and the drinks were excellent! Strict dress code so no ball caps, etc. Great spot for drinks with plenty of comfortable seats!

I've lived/worked in many places over the country as an exec chef/consultant. At every location I try and figure out where the best cocktails come from in my current city.
Let me tell you that in Phoenix, this is the best cocktail I've found thus far. The cocktails have a well-planned profile which exhibit consciousness, idealism, and a passionate creativity. My bartender Alyssa (I hope I spelled that correctly) was energetic, intelligent, and most of all charming. If I could hire a platoon of her to run my bars, I would've. I asked her for a gin cocktail with citrus notes and she presented me with something immense. Flavor, mouth feel, and balance were all outstanding. Her talent and love for mixology shows in her creations. I will definitely be back to MercBar on my trips to Phoenix. I have no doubt that if Alyssa works here, the other bartenders will share in her love of a fine drink.

Nice ambience bar with great cocktails. The bar is very spacious, which can accommodate large group. Many parking spaces as it’s located inside the mall and the bar can validate our parking ticket (parking garage)

Absolutely love this low key bar! We have been twice and the staff remembers us by name. Exceptional service and amazing cocktails both on and off menu! They are all very experienced and it shines through every time.

The most haughty pretentious place I’ve been in the Biltmore district. We were asked if we had a reservation? Very pretentiously, the place was empty. Then we were told we’d have to wait at the bar until all of our party (3) arrived. There was no one In the place! My guest sent his drink back twice, my dirty martini (no blue cheese olives) was served in a wine glass (see picture) then they wouldn’t give the 3 of us separate checks. We were told that their computer system wouldn’t do it. BS just too lazy. Not going back.

Merc Bar is one of the most quaint and upscale date spots in the Phoenix vicinity. Perfect for young professionals!
