I come to this bar all the time and absolutely love it! I have been to every pop up theme they have done this year and all have been amazing! The manager Joel is extremely inviting and charismatic! He really puts his heart into the drinks and makes you feel so welcomed. The Harry Potter theme they have right now is incredible! I have tried almost all of the drinks and they are all delicious and perfectly made to fit the theme! I recommend the mandrake if you are an espresso martini lover! The Expecto Patronum is also one of my favorites. They also have live music every night and it really adds to the experience. I can’t wait to see what theme they do next! 10/10!

10/10 experience. Their Harry Potter pop-up bar was well-designed with beautifully selected and eye-catching decor everywhere you looked. Even had the movies playing on multiple TVs. However, even the welcoming, magical atmosphere had nothing on the quality, creativity, and craftsmanship put into each of the cocktails. Each themed cocktail was paired with a unique presentation centered around its reference to the series. On top of it all, the drinks themselves were phenomenal. The time and expertise invested into each recipe was apparent and downright impressive. We’ll be back before the Harry Potter pop-up ends. Don’t miss out if you’re a fan.

Grinch theme was amazing! Super busy on a Tuesday night but patrons and bartenders were all nice. Drinks were super cute design.

Please be careful visiting this place if you are a person of color. Last night my friends were put out of the establishment and left in tears because two of them went into the restroom at the same time (which is very common for women as a safety precaution). Prior to them entering two white girls left out and there was no issue. They entered and 10 seconds later someone was BEATING on the door. They opened it not knowing it was an employee/manager so of course they were scared and startled. He began to berate them and when they attempted to explain he had security toss them out.

As I was speaking with the Mercantile employee regarding the situation to understand why my friends were removed, two more white girls came out of the restroom and right in front of my eyes he told them "I have a one person at a time restroom rule...if you break the rule AGAIN, I will put you all out.” The white girls were given the benefit of the doubt but my friends were berated, embarrassed, and tossed out owing to a simple misunderstanding. It was clear that the 0 tolerance approach to the rule was selective. Witnessing the blatant bias and frankly what felt like racism, truly broke my heart.

If everyone is put out for violating the rule, that’s fine, but to single out the two black women, yell at them, and refuse to let them retrieve their jackets before putting them out in Feb is unsettling. We had been there for a while and every single interaction with him and the rest of the staff had been pleasant, lighthearted, and fun prior to that moment. It makes me feel like he was waiting for us to do something "wrong" to get us out. It feels like we were never truly welcome and that’s the hardest part to face. No matter how kind we were, how engaging we were with other people, or how much we spent supporting the business — when opportunity presented itself there was no hesitation in getting the VERY few black people out.

LOVE this place! The managers Joel and Edgar are amazing. The bartenders are the best!
I ordered a million Harry Potter drinks that were 10/10! I also ordered the sliders and fries that were 10/10!
Will definitely return, but will arrive as soon as they open for themed pop-ups! It gets crowded fast because they’re SO good!

Mercantile makes THE BEST cocktails! Both presentation and taste are top notch, they put alot of thought into it. They do several themes throughout the year (Hocus Pocus, Grinch, etc)... I've been to several other theme bars, none of them compare to the quality of Mercantile
