My first time ordering a prepared meal for a christmas dinner for my family of 12. I decided this year to cater.
Ordered the Crown roast pork complete dinner. Spectacular, unbelievably the best dinner ever. Everyone raved about the apple sausage stuffing. There was still leftovers to take home. I am looking forward to my next party to try another meal. Thank you.

I've been shopping at McKinnons for over 15 yrs. now. Even though I don't live very close, I travel the distance. Any time I need quality steaks, a roast, or any meats in general, they have the best cuts. Their other foods and products are great too. I wish I had a McKinnons closer, but for now, it's totally worth the drive. Two thumbs up!!!

So I guess they are going to rip people off with the chuck roasts. Now they wrapped a roast I just bought by flipping over the fat parts on top of each other and tying it together to make it look like a roast. I buy them to make steaks low in behold, you can not with roasts from there. I guess it was one long piece about 18 inches. They folded over from the ends to the middle on its self to look like a roast and thick fat cap. I cut off 13.2 oz of fat out of a roast they sell for 5.99 a pound and the roast was only 3.91 pounds I know Chuck has some fat but when they deliberately fold over a long strap of fat to make it look like a roast then that is shotty practices they just lost a customer who shops there weekly. The one clue is when i took out the roast and the whole top part flopped over but the two other parts were still tied with a string. One photo shows the meat whats left of it still with more fat on it. Those 3 pieces were folded over on themselves with the fat caps all in the middle and then tied to hide the fat.

Steak tips marinated are very good. On sale this week $10.99 lb. I mostly go here for the lamb tips. They are very good and sold cheaper than anyone else.

Love McKinnon’s! We travel from Manchester every other week to the Salem location for their meats! Best quality and prices around. So many other little niche items they have. Always look forward to my Sunday trips there. Who knew grocery shopping could actually be fun?
