had breakfast “al fresco” overlooking the bayou…had to get the killer “country eggs Benedict”…perfect poached eggs on real biscuits slathered with creamy rich sausage gravy..? did you want “real” grits with that?…impeccable food & attentive staff - chow down !

I enjoyed my visit here.
Menu has great options, food was on point!
Location and environment was great.
Staff... Not so much. Unfortunately quite cranky!! And though not rude to me, I watched one be very unnecessarily rude to another man asking for milk...
From locals I was told the staff issue is not uncommon.
Highly recommend a refresh.
With that said, I'd love to return for the food when I return to the area.

We go to Longbeach Cafe almost every Friday morning. The food there is topnotch. Some of the best omelets we've found in the Bradenton, AMI and LBK areas! Delicious bacon and the wheat bread/toast is amazing! Sonja is a fantastic server and has become a friend too. She knows everyone's first name, what they drink, their favorite menu choices and how they like it cooked! We feel right at home at Longbeach Cafe!

We eat breakfast here every vacation. Food is always great and consistent. My favorites are the French omelette with rye, potatoes, and add grits, or corned beef hash (scratch made). So good!

Cute place with reasonably good food. I went with my Mom for breakfast.
The latte was pretty weak, so I stopped for another on my way home.
The server was competent and pleasant enough, but I didn't feel especially welcome, and after we left, my Mom mentioned that she thought the server had "a chip on her shoulder." I had to agree that she seemed to have a bit of an attitude. Maybe we look like someone else that she's met and doesn't like very much. Or maybe she was just having a bad day. I have no idea.

Tucked into a mall by Whitney beach, this is your diner for indoor seating or outdoor seating. Bring your dog and bring your kids bring your grandma. Daily specials. My plate was a BLT and my husband had the chili cheeseburger. Very filling. The servers were right on top of us from the time we sat down to when we left. Plenty of tea and attention —enjoyed reading the local newspaper while we waited for the grill guy to assemble our sandwiches. Busy—Many people came and went for takeout orders. It was too hot for us to sit outside, but there were several people who decided to take their dogs and sit out on the lovely patio.
