This restaurant is usually busy when I pass by. I was in the area and decided to go in and try out the whiting fish sandwich. The place was very clean no foul odors from the seafood. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. There are different sections frying, steaming, etc. You can also purchase fish. The restaurant takes cash or card except American Express. There is also an ATM inside. The fish smelled absolutely amazing. I couldn’t wait to get home to taste it. When I got home and took it out the bag, I noticed it coating/texture of the fish. The fish looked as though it was fried to long and probably fried in old oil. When biting the fish, it was hard and was tough as if I was biting in cardboard. The fish wouldn’t break off you would have thought I was biting into a steak or something. I’ve never had fish with a hard coating that was hard to bite off. This isn’t my style of food. The staff said I would be back for more but they were wrong I will not be returning to purchase the fried whiting sandwich. For food I give this place 1 star. However, they were friendly and welcoming. Because of the generosity I will give the place 2 stars.

Great customer service. The lady that steamed my seafood & veggies, etc. was awesome! She put this delicious sauce on my food that made it even more delectable! The guys were very nice. I'll be back with friends! See you soon!

This fish market has been around for over 30 years, and I've seen the change in staff and layout of the store over the years. There used to be a lobster tank near the back counter that I used to love looking at when I was a kid. I also remember nearly getting pinched by a live crab someone just bought and sat the bucket down. The service is and has always been really good. The prices have gone up over the years, but the quality of food is great and delicious.
