I had a wonderful experience when I stopped in for lunch a couple of days ago and only wish I had come here sooner.
The space itself is also a market selling all kinds of fish, sides, ready to heat entrees, and much more. It is open, bright, and inviting with kind and friendly employees welcoming you. There are a handful of tables if you are ordering a meal and would like to dine in.
Finally, the food itself. I am only sad that I have missed out on all those other times I could have been enjoying this food and kept forgetting to stop in. The fish itself (haddock) was some of the best I have had. The wine batter definitely elevated the flavor and was unlike anything I have had before. It was crunchy, tender, and absolutely delicious. Fries were great too - crispy and with just the right amount of salt (I dip mine in malt vinegar). Enjoyed the coleslaw as well. It had more of a vinegar base, which I do enjoy.
And the price! Only $15 for all of this food seems like a steal right now. Bring cash if you can. They do as most do these days and charge a bit more for credit.

I love Fin, but the love is a bit conditional since they are (justifiably) expensive. They have fish that’s top quality. My most frequent purchase is scallops for which I’m willing to pay almost $40 per pound, as they are dry (look it up) scallops and incredibly flavorful. The other thing I appreciate is the ability to buy things by the pound (herring both in cream and wine, whitefish salad, from Acme I presume) which you either need to buy in jars or just is not carried elsewhere. The service is (almost) uniformly great. I called in an order a couple of days ago and my monger remembered my name today! I love it! Lastly there is an employee who verbally jousts and jokes with me and I love it. Overall a really good place but be prepared to pay more for the quality and freshness.

First time trying I’ll start by saying the fried fish was delicious. Very fresh and tasty. My disappointment was with the add on $$ They charged for an extra tartar. I guess only 1 very small container per order . They charged for a roll to make my fish a fish fry. They charged for a very tiny container of coleslaw to go with my clam roll. But most disappointing was the portion of French fries. There was barely a handful and they were broken pieces of French fries definitely not enough for an adult . All in all not worth $40 for 2 of us portion wise.

I heard a lot of my coworkers at Farnsworth Middle School rave about “Fin” especially the Clam Chowder. I tried this business a few months ago. That day the Clam Chowder was sold out. They offered a White fish soup. I tried it based on my coworkers experience with their food. Not impressed but it was something different and new to me . Today I tried again and got the New England Clam chowder. It’s a three minute drive back to work with a minute walk to my office. The soup is like warm at best 45 minutes after the doors opened. Not a very generous amount of anything except the broth. I did not see one clam in it. Maybe it’s Vegan ?

It might be a good seafood market , aMy review is based only on my experience today and the soup.

Fin is an excellent source for fresh and cooked seafood . We recently got some 8 oz lobster tails and some jumbo sea scallops . Everything g including their New England clam chowder was great !

Fresh delicious seafood, but terrible customer service. We ordered oysters and dined in, which we have done before. However, last time we went, we paid, had receipt to prove it and the other family we went with even paid with cash. We finished eating, left a tip and cleared up our table, and walked out. We were rudely flagged down in parking lot by a worker accusing us of not paying. We have never experienced a situation quite like this and even though we enjoyed going there, we will never step foot in there again. Otherwise, I'd agree with all the other good reviews.

Probably taste better if dining in. Fresh server is usually best when you want it . But I try it dine out.Easily reheated low temperature heat was excellent by far. Reasonably price also. Highly recommended assorted fresh to buy . Awesome selection. Great customer service plus 10. 😃

Fantastic food and equally friendly and helpful staff. My wife suggested we try it and after taking our first bites, we looked at each other and said "I believe we'll be coming back to this place!" The crispy oven-fried cod with ginger slaw was incredibly good. I'm usually a cocktail sauce guy, but the homemade tartar sauce was great. Limited seating due to a small table area, but most folks we saw this evening were taking orders to go.
