An excellent fishmonger! They have a nice selection of fresh fish and a variety of in-house prepared items like crab and fish cakes. The different types of smoked and cured salmon and trout are all fantastic as well. Their fish got me in the door but the superb customer service keeps me coming back. The young team of knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating staff working here consistently makes shopping at De La Mer an enjoyable experience. This high level of service is rare in my experience and is a credit to both the individual staff and the training they've received from the management!
Go there, learn a little about what you're buying, have great experience, smile, feel appreciated and then go home cook yourself a delicious and healthy meal!! You'll be glad you did!

This is the best customer service of any retail store. They are extremely knowledgeable about their products and very helpful with portion amounts and cooking tips. Today the deveined and peeled the shrimp I bought (just a lovely gesture). Food is always top notch quality wise.

This is hands down the best fish store I have been to. Not only is the selection and quality on point, but their customer service is second to none. They are always happy to provide a taster, and they typically have amazing samples to try! Their smoked artic char and citrus candied salmon are mouth watering. An absolute Roncesvalles gem.

My rating/review is only with respect to their smoked/cooked fish options, which are just phenomenal. The salmon jerky is to die for (delish balance of sweet and spicy - note it has a decent amount of spice), and I am a big fan of the smoked salmon bacon - which the lovely guy behind the counter recommended flash frying, but I think is delicious as is. I also tend to eat it too fast to bother with that extra step 🙂

The Salmon steaks I bought were definitely the freshest and tastiest I've ever had but when I was recommended by a friend to come here, I was told that they throw in a lemon with your purchase but after checking my receipt, I was charged 0.50 for it. Not a big deal obviously but a little weird that I'd get charged for something I didn't ask for. Just mention you don't want a lemon with your fish. Its what I'll do from now on I guess.

De La Mer is my staple seafood stop, and has been for years. They always have a great selection of fresh product, plus a frozen section and refrigerated section for things like their (delicious) quiches. They also have excellent, helpful staff behind the counter - Julian is a standout who knows his stuff, and is always quick to make a customer smile. So happy to have this place in the neighbourhood - highly recommend it to all!
