Realmente de la comida y del chef no tengo nada para objetar. Pero las meseras que atienden me han brindado el PEOR servicio que he recibido en toda mi vida. Super desagradables, podría decir que hasta mal educadas. Me dio hasta bronca dejarles la propina pero como yo si soy educada, se las dejé. Espero que les enseñen un poco de humanismo, todos tenemos malos días pero estas dos señoras no tienen ni educación ni ganas de trabajar. Destrato te brindan, muy desagradable

Comprehensive Review of Our Breakfast Experience

During our stay, we finally managed to have breakfast on our last day by arriving early. Breakfast at this establishment is from the menu and not buffet, which has its benefits. There's a section where some items are included, but you can purchase additional items with a small upcharge. However, our overall experience left much to be desired due to the service we received.

Upon arriving at the restaurant around 7:05 AM, we were greeted by Doreen, who was both the hostess and the only server at that time. There was one couple already seated, and another table was seated after us. Doreen seated us and then attended to the other tables, including those who arrived after us, getting them their coffee in very large cups. We had to ask for coffee ourselves and only received it after multiple requests. This was the only time we got coffee without having to ask repeatedly.

After some time, Doreen finally took our orders. The hotel includes a certain portion of the menu, and the portions were indeed generous and the food delicious. However, my wife accidentally ordered the wrong dish for our daughter, and we requested an order of pancakes to rectify her mistake. Unfortunately, those pancakes never arrived, even after asking several times.

As time went on, we continued to ask for more coffee, but our requests were ignored. We eventually asked a different server, who promptly provided us with coffee. Due to our tight schedule, we needed to leave, and when I went to pay, I informed Doreen that we never received the pancakes and did not wish to be charged for them. Doreen became flustered, went to the kitchen, and brought out the pancake, which had been sitting there for an unknown amount of time, even though we had already stated we didn't want it.

My wife had also requested a box for our leftover food, which Doreen never brought. When it was time to pay, she had trouble swiping my card and asked me to read my card details aloud, which I refused to do for security reasons. She then went to another register and tried again. Despite knowing the card was fine, I ended up using a different one just to expedite the process.

The other servers in the restaurant seemed to provide great service, being attentive and explaining the menu thoroughly to their tables. This made the contrast in service from Doreen even more stark. While the food was excellent, the service we received from Doreen was unacceptable and significantly marred our dining experience.

In summary, while the food at this restaurant is commendable, the quality of service is equally important. Unfortunately, our experience with Doreen was highly unsatisfactory and detracted from what could have been a pleasant meal.

Worst dining experience ever! Being in the hospitality business, I was more than disappointed! Two hours to get two hamburgers. Awful presentation. Forgot second drink order. Then added 21% gratuity because there WAS a party there earlier. That group had left before we arrived. We were able to get that removed! Everything took way too long.

We arrived at Rolf's at 5:45 pm on 2/13/25. We came for dinner and to hear the band. At 6:15 p.m., we flagged down our waitress to place a drink order. She took the drink from our table mates at 6 pm, but not ours. Odd. At 6:45pm (after asking our waitress about our drinks), I finally went to the bar & ordered directly. Turns out our drinks were sitting on the bar. The bartender said, "Oh, these have been here for a half hour, I have reminded your server twice." While I was at the bar, another server came by our table and asked if everything was okay. Our table mates said, "Yes,' we've placed our orders." She passed by the table again, and I said, "All is not well. Would you please check on our orders?" Turns out they were never placed in the kitchen. She also checked on our table mates orders too. They were also never placed in the kitchen. So at 7:15pm, an hour & a half after arriving, we again placed our orders. The food finally arrived at 8pm. TWO HOURS & 15 minutes later. My husband had the strip steak & it was excellent. I had the flounder fish & chips. It was a little greasy but still very good. The replacement server Shana turned the night around for us. She deserves a raise. Our original server, a blond woman with a sleeve tattoo, must have been overwhelmed by the crowd. Note to management... If you have nearly 200 people in the dining room, why not open the bar in that room and advise customers to get their own drinks? This would improve the whole experience. Many times throughout the evening, I also noticed that the servers were going to tables with just one cocktail or just one plate? Do you have trays?

Chef Rolf is amazing! He did the food for our wedding and it was one of the highlights for all of our guests! He customized the food exactly to our liking, including dishes from both of our backgrounds!

We have been back several times since for brunch and dinner, which never disappoints. The piano room also has a very nice ambiance!

This place was awful from start to finish. The service was terrible we waited for everything from a drink to ordering all way to getting the check. They are high priced for mediocre food. We started out with Cesar salads that had a dressing that tasted like fish and a burnt loaf of bread. My water glass was dirty. We both had the prim rib and potatoes. The prime rib had zero flavor and it was tough. The potatoes tasted like they could be instant and the asparagus was hard. We will not be returning to this establishment.

When my husband and I checked in at Casey Key Mainland, we were not expecting to enjoy such a wonderful dinner at Chef Rolf's! We had been meandering down the coast, eating at many different places, and this dinner was one of the best! What a hidden gem! The service was great in a casual atmosphere, and the menu was diverse. We enjoyed Buffalo Cauliflower (which I am sure was blanched and hand battered). If you want to try a great Swiss dish, get the Poulet Maderia. The Shrimp Scampi Pasta is outstanding; and the bread... wow... reminded me of bread from the Amish area of PA where i grew up. Blueberry Old-Fashioned, martini and a high quality dinner, less than $90. Highly recommend Chef Rolf's.
