I've traveled to Lake City from time to time for several years now, but never visited Cedar River Seafood. And now, I wish I had sooner. I went a little late in the evening, and it was quiet, service was friendly and fast, and the food was hot and delicious. I really liked how the server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. I will definitely be back...sooner than later.

Kaila was my server. She was helpful, attentive and friendly. I got the half and half and ordered pollock, which was delicious, and the founder was even better! The food came out quickly was fresh and hot. There's background music, but it's low, so it won't interfere with conversations. I've been meaning to visit for a long time and I'm glad I did! I'll be back to try other menu items.

I loved this restaurant! While visiting Lake City, I found this restaurant on Google. The reviews were great so I wanted to give it a chance. I am a seafood connoisseur from the coast (Charleston SC) and find myself to be quite the food critic. Once seated we were greeted by a cheerful and friendly waitress. Kiala (sp.) not only recommended dishes, helped with questions about the springs in the area and even gave us a little history about the restaurant. We had to ask!!! How is it possible to get such fresh seafood and delicious dishes at such an inexpensive cost!? Hats off to the hard working owner who is offering delectable dishes for a small fraction of what other seafood restaurants charge! Thank you for keeping your menu cost efficient during inflated times. If I make my way back to Lake City, I am definitely returning!

I would like to say , this was a horrible experience.
We ordered two grouper sandwiches.
We didn't notice at first that the fish wasn't cooked. It was still raw in some areas.
Thank you for the time my wife and I spent in the bathroom all night getting sick.
This will definitely be my last time eating there.
The worst part was the waitress was making all types of excuses and telling me the fish was cooked.
I'm a avid fisherman and I can tell that the fish was old and raw . For the $81 luch bill I didn't think we had to inspect the food before eating it.
