The food was so delicious and each staff member was so kind! This was our first time trying this place, and it was so worth it! We can not wait to go back when we head down south, again.

This site is wonderful. We had a cedar River where we used to live which was eh but we moved here and this place is 👌. I believe our waitress name was Ashely, she. Was. SPECTACULAR! My mom's addicted to the sauce that comes with the coconut shrimp and she gave us some cups to go it was very sweet

I used to eat at the original restaurant on the Cedar River. I remember there being 3 restaurants on the Westside of Jacksonville. They closed and I found one in Middleburg. Then they closed. Then I found one in Leesburg and it closed. I just found this restaurant in Gainesville. I hope this restaurant has a long life. I enjoyed a fried shrimp 🍤 dinner for lunch. The service was good and the tea tasted great.

Classic Seafood. Have never had any issues with food quality. The portions have not changed the entire time I have eaten here. The prices have gone up a $2.00-$3.00 dollars for the Shrimp. Only change is they used to offer a smaller option kind of a lunch size for dinner, but don’t anymore. One of the only places in town that the price reflects the serving size left in Gainesville. You will leave full. Dating myself here, but have been coming to this place for 15 years. My Granny and Dad loved coming here. Many family birthday celebrations. Service can be hit or miss as far as personality , but you see the hustle and effort that most of them have. They are working and not on their phones or just standing around.

We started with the Calamari and Conch Fritters. The Calamari was good, maybe could have been cooked a minute or 2 longer. It would also be really good with a Creole sauce versus the marinara sauce. I would go back just for the Conch Fritters they were that good. I'm a Florida native and have not found Fritters I have enjoyed in a long time. These had nice pieces of conch and were not under or over cooked which seems to be a hard thing to master in a lot of restaurants. These were cooked perfectly! I ordered the Trio for lunch with fried Grouper, Shrimp and Clamstrips. My sides were fried Okra and Collard Greens. Once again the seafood was cooked perfectly. You should know the shrimp are a wee bit on the small side. The Collard Greens has a smokiness to them and the Okra was yummy with a side of ranch. Amanda was our server. She was knowledgeable and willing to answer all of our questions being our first time there. We appreciated everything she did for us and will make sure to request her when we go back.

Deviled crab was delicious and best hush puppies I have ever tasted! Collard greens were delicious! Key lime pie was the perfect dessert!

The food was absolutely amazing. I had the fried catfish, gatortail, shrimp, french fries, coleslaw, and absolutely loved the starter dip that they give you with the crackers. The servers were all very kind and fast and the atmosphere was pretty cool because it felt like a lvintage seafood place Inside, although it is in a modern plaza. The other place that I like is really far across town but I am often not too inspired to drive 20 to 25 minutes to go get it. This place was just six minutes up the road, it will be my go to seafood place from now on.
