Loved this hometown local restaurant. Awesome food. It was the best gator I have ever had. My husband had the catfish fingers & said they were excellent too. We had the fried okra appetizer, and it was cooked perfectly. Light batter on all the fried food so you could taste the seafood & none of it was greasy at all. We will be back when traveling in the area. They had a craft beers tap room in the back that I want to come back and try out too. Wonderful server; Kimberly.

Been here many times through the years but, today's lunch was awesome. The fish was light, crispy and hot as well as the frys....the slaw was very good. My husband had catfish fingers. They were also light in color, crispy and served hot. This is probably the BEST meal we've ever had here. Great restaurant Pat! It was delicious! Perfectly cooked. 🤗👍😋

I had the gator nuggets and they were excellent with the boom boom sauce. Service was fast and the price was more than reasonable. I would definitely eat here again if I'm in town.

Great down home cooking! This place always satisfies. The gator nuggets are some of the best that I have ever had, so tender that they almost melt in your mouth.

My husband and I live in Tampa, and decided to take a "Tankful Ride". We ended up in Lake Pannosoffkee. After asking some locals for the best dining experience, we ended up at catfish Johnny's.
We didn't know what to expect; However, we both were PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!
The customer service was good, but the food...it was Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!
We ordered the Fried Seafood Platter for 2 people. The portions were amazing.
We will definitely return. Thank you so much for such great hospitality.

We try to go here each time we're in town. We had the broiled seafood platter, and it was good. It consists of two perch filets, small sweet bay scallops, and three shrimp with a choice of two sides. Staff was very friendly, especially our waitress, Macey ( I hope I spelled your name correctly). She was fabulous! It is not a fancy place so you can dress casual.
