Great place for crabs. Small, medium and large available. Alaskan crab legs. Other seafood. This place is made for eating crabs‼️ from the rolled out paper on the table to the buckets for crab remains to the mallets and seasoning on the table. And non crab entres for thos not looking for crabs. No complaints from my crab eating friends and family. Wait staff efficient too.

This place has excellent snow crab legs. I’ve never been disappointed with the size or the freshness of the snow crab legs however our last purchase of Jumbo male crabs at $150 a dozen was beyond disappointing. It felt like robbery. The pictures I post will speak for itself, there is no way that we were sold jumbo crabs. Luckily we only purchased a half dozen and were given exactly 6 crabs.
PS my hands are not big.

Yesterday, I was treated to crabs at Captain Dan's Crabhouse. We were greeted promptly upon our arrival. We dined in and were allowed to select our table. Our Hostess was a sweetheart. She took excellent care of us. We ordered large crabs and they were hot, sweet and meatly. We didn't waste anytime digging in. The table was covered in brown paper, a bucket was provided for the shells and a roll of paper towels were on the table. Everything I needed before feasting on some hot steamed crabs. I left content. 🦀

Visited 5/28/24……our fabulous waitress Ally was funny, kind, attentive and professional!! When I asked for lemon for my Diet Coke….this is what I got. 😁👏. This young woman deserves a raise! Couldn’t ask for a better experience…..and the food 11/10. Picked crabs (smalls for $2 a piece and always meaty) and had the Chesapeake Bay fries scallops coleslaw and shrimp. Always delicious. Thank you Ally for adding g to a great night!!

Was told last seat was 7 drive alway out get here 7:03 cause parking lot was blocked we reserved crabs and she said I told you to be here by 7:00 it's 7:03 I can't seat you. This is horrible customer service. I will never return and I eat crabs on a weekly bases and refer many people to all my crab spots. Won't be referring this place at all.

I've only been here a few times, mainly to buy crabs and steamed shrimp. I decided to get some raw oysters this time. The price was 20.99 about the normal price for a dozen. Oysters were nice, sizes, and fresh. Make sure you ask for more cocktail sauce and any other condiments you want to put on your oysters. They gave me one little cocktail sauce for a dozen oysters. Lastly, they didn't put them on ice, so u better go straight home and eat them.

My daughter and I came across this place randomly tonight.. we just wanted crabs while in the area & this place had the highest ratings. They offered take out and dine in. We decided to try dine in. Everyone was kind, professional, & courteous to us, and we were seated immediately. Compact seating area but had an opened feel. My daughter and I were the only “flies in the buttermilk” so to speak, minus one couple already seated who gave a side eye we absolutely ignored ☺️ everyone including staff made us feel more than welcome. We tried some onion rings, crab potato skins, & ordered their Large crabs. The food was tasty, seasoned well and the crabs were good size and all but 1 were amazing. That one tasted like old nasty fishy crab water 🤢. Lol. Overall we had a great experience, were treated well, and enjoyed the food. We would have appreciated a small side salad menu or something, but that didn’t take away from the experience.. it would have also been kool if they offered “real” butter or garlic butter to dip your crabs in. They only had reg unsalted unflavored butter, and it tasted more like an oily butter mix or substitute that left a horrible aftertaste. That would be a pass for us next go round, but there would def be a next go round. Great first impression. On our way out, we also got to meet one of the owners or managers (someone important), a man named Mike I believe, who asked us about our experience and welcomed us back. Thank you guys. Our waitress was awesome too!!

We got 1.5 lbs of steamed crab legs and 2 platters. Amazing quality and taste. The scallops were some of the freshest I’ve tasted in Maryland so far. The broiled crab cake was the right balance of lump crab meat. Will most definitely be visiting again.
