George was incredibly amazing as much as the cook. They were more than nice and welcoming with us. My boyfriend and I will definitely come back. They have done my day. Their fish was awesome and the most fresh fish I had in my entire summer. Bravo! I had the best tuna sandwich of my entire life 🤗

I hadn’t tried caviar in years, but the incredibly friendly staff at Browne made the buying process approachable, informative, and incredibly easy. George help us SO much! He was able to take the intimidation away from the process and really helped up pick out the perfect snack for a picnic. Excellent customer service and great product — we got excellent caviar, lightly smoked salmon that was the best I’ve had in years, and some extras. Worth the stop!

Asked for scallops (listed at 55$/pound) and smoked salmon (listed at 35$/pound), only to notice later that they weighted both together and sold the salmon at 55$ too.

Be careful when you get at the counter and when you get the bill as this might not be the only shady practice.

Because I only noticed once I was back at my hotel. It's way too exhausting to live on your toes while expecting others to scam you and forgot to look at the bill at the shop. Of all the places I would not have expected this to happen in a "fancy" seafood shop.

An amazing foodie store! The cheese selection is very diverse with different cheese from all over the world. Picked up some rare cheeses from Italy & Switzerland. Then went to the seafood counter where I got a pound of the Smoked Scallops, those things were like candy. Opened up the container and ate them like candy. I highly recommend this place if you want some unique food fare.

I read about how delicious King Ora Salmon is. I never heard of it, but I love salmon..my son hates it...and they just so happen to have it available at Browne Trading Co. I bought a pound, cooked it exactly how they recommended and it definitely is worth the price! For anyone who already likes salmon, this is sure to impress with how buttery it is. For those who don't particularly care for salmon...this is one to try and convince you to love it!

One of my favorite spots to frequent in Portland! Amazing cheese selection and the cheese aficionado on staff is super knowledgeable and always willing to help! Same with the wine selection and staff! Plus super fresh fish! Pretty awesome all around. Love it here 🙂

This is a great store for the foodie and gourmet alike. Fresh seafood and specialty meats and cheeses. Great assortment of wines and hors d'oeuvres for any special occasions or a romantic winter evening with yourself. This is my new go to personal culinary store. I cannot sing the praises of the friendly staff and the full stock. Wether it's cheese and wine, freshe seafood, Kobe beef, elk venison or foie gras they have it. They can also fill your get together party needs. If you can't impress your friends and family with what Browne Trading market has to offer, you probably need to order out. Five stars *
