First off, Cassandra was a fantastic server. She was attentive and took care of us. The food here is beyond incredible. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the yellow fin tuna. Both were fantastic. Their oysters were a nice addition as well. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're visiting this area.

We dined here during our vacation and everything was wonderful. I made a reservation for a Saturday night and we arrived about 15 minutes early and were seated right away. Our waiter was friendly, personable, and very attentive. The oysters were probably the best we had of the entire trip. The cocktails were creative and well-made. I enjoyed the cherry smash and the grilled pineapple spicy margarita. I had the snapper with risotto, which was wonderful and well seasoned, and came with a nice arugula salad, which I was too full to eat by the end. My husband’s stuffed shrimp were well-prepared and tasty and the accompanying grits were cheesy & delicious. Even my son‘s chicken tenders were well-made and didn’t look/taste like frozen tenders. Overall, we had a very good meal and it felt casual enough to bring our seven-year-old but was still a nicer restaurant but not stuffy.

My husband found this gem near our hotel in siesta key because he wanted raw oysters. The oysters were clean and fresh. I ordered the crab cake entree with mashed potatoes and broccolini. The lump crab cake had no filler and was seared to perfection. It is the best crab cake I have ever had and I usually eat crab cakes if they are on the menu. My husband had the yellowfin tuna and loved it. We would highly recommend this place to others.

Great restaurant for Seafood!!! Some of the best seafood in Sarasota. Got 4 mere point oysters. Got 4 more! Delicious! Very clean tasting. Did oysters shooters as well (picture). Not your typical oyster shooters but very good. Husband has the snapper, he said it was cooked nicely and the risotto was flavorful. Brine should have the risotto as a side dish. I had the cream of crab soup and arugula salad with chicken. Soup was very delicious. Salad was a salad. They only complaint would be the service. Ordered bread and never got it. We were a group of 5+. Someone ordered the lobster roll and when it came to the table, the waitress dropped some of the lobster out of the roll onto the floor. Didn't apologize or say that they would get some more pieces for the roll. Other than that food was amazing. Would come back again! Sorry for no other pictures!

Super fresh oysters, with a separate oyster bar, some of the best I’ve ever eaten. The charred octopus was stunning - I could have eaten 2 portions. The lobster roll was excellent (served warm per my waiter’s recommendation) but it was small, think 3 bites. The seafood salad was exactly as described on the menu and I loved it. My friend had the seared tuna and he said it was really good.

A great local spot for fresh oysters and seafood! I enjoyed a half dozen oysters from Maine that were fresh and delicious. Also enjoyed the mushroom tart as an appetizer. The crab cakes did not disappoint!! Tons of crab just barely being held together! 😊 I tried the spicy pineapple margarita and it was so good, I had another! A hidden gem in Gulf Gate!!

We stopped in for an early dinner, after a day at the beach. David was great and provided fantastic service. We would highly recommend the calamari, it was delicious! All of the food was fabulous ... the roasted veggies that came with the stuffed shrimp, were the perfect side dish. And don't hesitate to splurge on dessert! They said the carrot cake is their most popular, but we went for the Key Lime pie and it did NOT disappoint! We've already decided we have to go back, to try their famous crab cakes.

Very clean and attractive venue. Great raw bar with a large selections. Attentive service. Clean restrooms. Complete bar. The ceviche is excellent.
