Came in on a Saturday at lunch time expecting to wait. Walked right in sat down and within five minutes had ordered and was enjoying some sweet tea. Food came out in 15 min and it was AMAZING! Everything was fresh and crispy fried. No way I could eat it all. This was the swamp platter and it did not disappoint. Beautiful little place amazing food and beautiful views. I would definitely recommend if you are passing through like I was.

Omg what an awesome find! The captain at Tom and Jerry air boats recommended this to us and it really was I highlight of the day!
The food was amazing! Try the 🐊 gator bits and the grouper so delicious! The band was very entertaining! We could have spent the whole day here such a cool place to visit in Lake Panasoffkee!

Went to Big Bass for lunch on a Sunday. Great dive bar/biker bar feel. Had live music, which was great. Loved it. We sat outside near the water. Lots of outdoor covered and uncovered seating. Small inside seating space, too. Long dock to walk on and see the small alligators who hang out around there.

Service was terrific. Super friendly, nice people. "T" was attentive, friendly, and seemed like a genuinely nice person. Thanks T!

Food was good. Catfish was good, I like a bit more breading on mine, but it was good. Fries were a unique, thicker fry potato. Great with their ranch. Lots of food options.

It's worth checking it out and grabbing a drink, appetizer, or meal. We will be back often! Loved the vibe of the place.

There is a nice outdoor lakefront view. A biker friendly atmosphere. I ordered the fish and chips but substituted baked beans for the fries, it was very tasty. My wife had the fried oysters and found them very good as well. We got there early for lunch and the place filled up quickly, so it seems this is a popular place.

EXCELLENT! Would definitely go back as a regular! Atmosphere reminds me of a little spot in Missouri called Big Rock Candy Mountain just off the river! This place is right on the lake & they make an excellent LI Tea and the fried green tomatoes are a MUST!!

Great food, very friendly staff and atmosphere, nice sized portions. The alligator bites were the best. Great sweet tea too. 77.00 bucks for a family of five, you can't beat that and everyone walked away full and happy. Karaoke was a riot! They got .y youngest daughter up there to sing and she loved it! Will def be back next time I'm in town.
