Was in town to see a couple patients and craving oysters and randomly walked into this fabulous spot. At first I thought it was just a seafood market but they directed me downstairs to the seafood bar! Hit the spot and was outstanding! Service was fast and provided great info about the oysters. Additionally the fresh tuna was incredible. Had a coupe oysters they just got in that weren’t on the menu which was really good. 5-stars all around for this spot!

Amazing addition to the Mile Square! Brought two nice pieces of swordfish on their opening day, very fresh and reasonably priced! Went back tonight and dine at their raw bar downstairs, it was all delicious. Raw oysters, shrimp cocktails, tuna tartare, lobster roll and clam chowder! Great casual atmosphere and friendly service. Hype is for real. Freshest fish in town at respectable prices. Clean and modern inside. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, everything comes in daily deliveries, and the selection is excellent. We haven’t made seafood this good at home maybe ever. There’s a raw bar downstairs for some fresh shucked oysters, tartare, lobster roll and more treats. They’ve sold out every day so far. Run don’t walk.

Thank goodness the doors have finally opened. Angelo’s seafood market is perhaps one of the most anticipated and needed store to open in the last several years. At the best part, selection and offerings do not disappoint.

A bright and welcoming space, the store is stocked with various prepackaged goods, including unique items, such as black cuttlefish gnocchi. There is also a variety of refrigerated and frozen food options, including what looks like some very tasty cheddar crab dip.

The highlight obviously is the fresh fish counter. Stocked with multiple types of salmon, more obscure fish, such as whole snapper, and tons of different types of shellfish. prices are reasonable and in line with what is to be expected.

The diamond in the rough in this place is downstairs, where they have a raw seafood bar. You can get anything from West Coast and East Coast oysters, hot or cold lobster rolls, and various dips. Best of all, it’s BYOB. So pack your bubbles and head on over to visit Jesus downstairs who will shuck you an experience not to be matched anywhere in Hoboken.

Tried this place for the first time today and I was very impressed. The people working here are friendly and helpful. I only got NJ scallops, but the rest of the selection looked great. Would recommend and can't wait to return soon. Much better selection than other seafood counters in Hoboken for sure (looking at you, ShopRite).

Headed in for some fresh fish and ended up also stopping by the raw bar downstairs. Had 1/2 a dozen clams and a buttered lobster roll. All delicious. Bought a crab stuffed sole and yellowfin tuna steak. Raw bar is BYOB!

Great first time experience here! The salmon I bought was excellent quality, tasted delicious, had no foul smell & the man who helped me pick it out was super helpful and nice. I usually don't love to cook seafood but now will be visiting weekly. I can't wait to come back and get some more items!

Now that is what a fish market should look and smell like. Extremely clean and fish are presented beautifully. Has the aroma of fresh smelling seafood. Prices are reasonable and quality looks high for all products. Staff is extremely helpful and polite. Will definitely continue to swing by this place when I’m in town.
