Stopped in to pick up some Smoked Salmon for New Year's Eve, I don't eat it but my partner does, & I told the gentleman behind the counter what size piece I'd like & asked him to pick out a good one. I was in the refrigerator less than 24 hours & when I served it I was embarrassed. It was very dry, like jerky dry, & way over smoked. I also asked for Smoked Chubs (again not something I eat) & he said they don't carry them but they have a similar fish it just swims in deeper waters but has the same taste. He's supposed to know what he's talking about so I purchased a few. They were worse than the Smoked Salmon I purchased. They were so dry & over Smoked you couldn't separate the skin from the meat. This is by far the worst experience I've had at Empire Fish & if this is the type of customer service & quality of product they are going to be providing I'll definitely be going elsewhere for my seafood purchases.

I was very impressed with both the variety and quality of seafood and more at Empire Fish Company. The selection was massive and diverse. They have wine, cheese, steaks, seasonings, flour, oyster knives, fishing poles, and many more. They have a bunch of other options to those who do not like seafood. May I also add that, they have happy hour $1.00 East Coast oysters from 5:00pm-6:00pm daily. The associates are all nice, kind, and a wealth of knowledge. Cheers to many years of success for you all!

Me and my mom were in 3 days ago on 30th she got Snow Crab and a lobster tail and I got Dungeness Crab. While here snow Crab was perfect after cooking the Dungeness it smelt horrible and after examing the meat and smelling the ammoniaish smell and brown discoloration I threw them away! Was very disappointed because normally this business has great products. But as someone who works with food every day I can 100% say the Crab legs I got here were rotting processed anyway and frozen for customers which is really really unsafe

I always leave Empire with more than I intend! It’s a great store with fantastic variety. Obviously the fish and seafood is outstanding, but so is the beverage area, dry goods, meat selection, and tons more. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

Good service, wide variety of seafood you wouldn't see in a grocery store. Fish, I've never heard of it, too. My son has us hooked on going here when in the area.

The guys that work here are so knowledgeable about the fish sold there. Orange roughy was sold out, so I asked what was the next best besides cod or haddock. West Coast Dover Sole, I've never heard of this fish, but I'm giving it a try!
