We ate on a Saturday night at 6pm. The restaurant was about half full. They use the same seafood from the fish market inside the store so you can see what you are getting and it is very fresh.

Meals include soup or salad and baked potato, fries etc plus veggies.

We started with raw oysters which were ok not great. Too big and mushy and one was awful tasting.

One of us had white clam chowder, grilled swordfish and baked potato.
The other had red chowder, grilled halibut with lemon caper sauce, and double veggies.

The chowder and fish were great. Fresh and perfectly cooked. The baked potato and veggies were overcooked and a bit bland.

Service was attentive and friendly.

Cost for two without alcohol was $90. A relative bargain for fish in Carmel.

Nice little place with fresh fish. We tried the grilled ones, but there are also fried fares like fish and fries (chips). Also tried the clam chowder -which was decent.
Halibut grill: was done right and retained the balance between moisture crisp, and went really well with daily special salsa.
Sea bass grill: was done nicely, was tried with daily special capers sauce.

It may be worthwhile to ask what "vegetables" they are going to add to the dish. It was boiled green beans. Was not very harmonious with the rest of the items. If we knew, it was green beans, we would have asked to omit that.

Enough about green beans, their grilling is top notch.

Also, they sell fresh fish as well!

The best part of this spot is the service - top notch and attentive!!!
The food was good , old fashioned seafood, not very creative.
Oysters were delicious (Canadian) they were large and were served with traditional cocktail sauce (normally enjoy the smaller oysters with some mignonette on the side)
The portions are enormous ! We got the fish taco which was extremely filling. Their thousand island dressing is fresh and does not taste bottled.
Pretty standard food but lovely service!

Outdoor patio is dog friendly !

Great food as always. When I am in town, I keep on coming back. The outside seating offers tranquility while enjoying your food. Overlooking the waters and kayakers as they cruise the waters. Friendly staff.
