100% plus given for this establishment. Being a coeliac it's difficult to eat in most places. On entry, we was asked if we wanted the gluten free menu....in years of eating out we've never been asked that. The staff here are so attentive and assertive. The food was delicious. Couldn't fault anything whatsoever. Highly recommended.

I fully expected this place to be pricey based on some other reviews, but it was very reasonable actually. The food was pretty tasty and the chilli jam was bloody lovely. I got the halloumi burger (only downside is that it had only 2 fingers of halloumi, which was stingy given the size of other burgers and it was none-meat of course) which looked good. My boyfriend got the Kiev burger, which he said tasted way better than he was expecting. He'd definitely have it again, and I'd order mine again too, but give us an extra finger on the next one lol. All in all, a good new venue and competition for other restaurants in Whitby.

Wonderful alternative place. The Caribbean Curry was so flavoursome and hearty! Pudding was a fresh finish to the meal too, gorgeous.
Staff were lovely and welcoming, price is good, but this is a gem I hope stays in Whitby for many years. We will be back!

Visited a couple of times during a recent stay in Whitby. Seated quickly and each time we chose lounge-type tub chairs next to the window, so we could watch the world go by. Food and drink orders must be placed at the bar using your table no. or using a QR code via your phone. We prefer this self-order approach as there is no time pressure to choose and both food and drinks menus are extensive, so you do need time to peruse. We enjoyed milkshakes, bacon sandwiches, tuna melts and beef brisket chilli during our visits. All were lush, if we had to be picky, we would say that the tuna melt lacked a garnish/side salad for the price, but that's all that could be faulted. We also tried quite a few cocktails which were pricey and some seemed to have a lot less alcohol content than others, but we thoroughly enjoyed them all. Staff were chatty and helpful on both days we visited, toilets were spotless, spacious place, highly recommended for a lazy afternoon or two. A+

Absolutely fantastic restaurant, dont be put off by the name the menu is stacked with many different cuisines.

Caters very well for vegetarians, vegans and gluten free as well as a large choice of meat and fish.

Dogs are allowed which is perfect for Whitby, lovely atmosphere too.

Quite busy but there's a quieter area near the back which was perfect for my grandparents.

Will definitely be back next time I visit!

Excellent drinks and food, all the food arrived a lot quicker than expected even when told the wait would be longer, it all tasted great and made for an excellent engagement night with the two for one cocktails. Once they found out we’d gotten engaged we were congratulated and given a glass of bubbly each, amazing atmosphere would definitely come again

Gem of a place adjacent to the harbour and railway station.
We had to wait 45 mins for our train and my daughter wasn't feeling well so we dropped into this unassuming coffee lounge and boy were we surprised. Stunning interior, air conditioned, pristine and very clean. Some outside seating. I explained our situation and that we would not be dining but this was shrugged off by the member of staff who ushered us to a massive comfy sofa and armchair while my daughter could rest. The member of staff brought over water and we placed an order for some drinks and cake. This was done via an app. The staff were in no hurry to move us on, which made a change. We saw another table order food which was delivered quickly, and looked very yummy, they had a very young baby in a large pram and this was accomodated no problem. Various nooks meant you could experience quiet dining with various aspects around Whitby. Fantastic disabled facilities, we left wishing we could have the same in Lincoln. Great place, Great Staff, super friendly. Dog and wheelchair accessible.

The lady serving was lovely….and the kids meal great! It’s meant to be a kid friendly venue. Other pubs in this chain I have been to have a children’s play corner with toys. This one hasn’t and when my child who has a disability was walking around the staff…especially the bald guy made it clear they weren’t happy! Felt uncomfortable by this whole my partner went to get he car with her being disabled.
