We have not gone to the store. However, we just had an unpleasant experience with their delivery driver. We were at the intersection of Sheridan and Pratt, when we had to come to a full stop and we were unable to move as their delivery driver was blocking both north bound lanes on Sheridan and part of one southbound lane in order to do a U turn. The truck could gave easily gone straight but refused to move despite people honking at him.

MARTINEZ Seafood
chooses to be a shi#tty neighbor
to those that park on Carroll St.

Semi-Trailers CAN NOT park
on City Streets.
It is a Ticket-able Offense.

If they need a bigger building to accommodate their business-they should relocate.
Ever since they moved
onto Sacramento @ Carroll they act
like they don’t need to respect their neighbors,
small business or those associated
with a Charter School across the street from them.
Terrible attitude when I’ve called to discuss this with their Dispatcher and Manager.

22Mar ‘22- it still seems like
Mr. Martinez believes “he owns” the
City of CHICAGO’s Streets;
parking Semi-Trailers on any street
is a violation of City of Chicago ordinances.
If they are unable to “fit” their business
on the property that they own-
maybe they should consider
moving to a suburban location
where they can get more square feet.
And not steal so many parking places for the neighborhood and it’s visitors/guests!

This is the worst customer service I've ever encountered. They consistently send poor-quality fish to customers and never respond to any complaints. Now I order from other companies, which offer better service, higher quality, and more competitive prices.

Very bad customer service and horrible products. Their fishes are not fresh, some of them are smelly and the vegetables are old and expensive. I would never recommend even my worst enemy to go to this place.

The company often finds orders that have already been paid for months later. Let you make another payment. They often do. I tried to talk to their boss about it. But the boss never shows up.

This company side swiped my vehicle and denied doing it. I got (maybe) the owner on the phone and he laughed and said “we have a lot trucks, we hit a lot of vehicles”

I wouldn’t recommend doing business with someone who thinks that side swiping someone else’s vehicle, leaving the scene, then denying it despite video evidenced. What a POS

I have been working with this company for about over 1 year now for my small business. They have always been extremely responsive, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile for us. We are no way their biggest customer but always treated with respect and high priority. They even let us use their cardboard compactor from time to time! I am forever grateful for the excellent customer service. Thank you!

I am the manager at Sake Sushi and Grill, and we have been ordering from Martinez for 5 years. But this year, there have already been 2 instances of their mistakes. We ordered last night, and called two times, but none of our order came today. And when I called them again today, they said they didn’t get our order when I definitely called. The person on the phone also kept saying there isn’t anyone to deliver the order on the weekends. But as a sushi restaurants, these deliveries are very important. I also keep looking for the manager, but I can never get in contact.
