An hour and a half drive from my home took me back 40+ years to a time before Hurricane Alicia destroyed Hillman's Seafood restaurant. I had eaten here many times as a child with my family and always loved their food. Today I was here for their fresh seafood. Everything looked great and that was later confirmed with the dinner I made. A big personal highlight, was being allowed to see the now empty original restaurant. It was a real life flashback. It was great to see the old menus and news clippings. I was also surprised to find out I could buy their shrimp coleslaw I grew up eating...so good. The hush puppies were good too. I look forward to trying the gumbo next. Thanks again for the great fresh seafood and the trip back in time!

Been coming here for almost 20 years. I will drive from Houston just for their crawfish. They are always nice and the place doesn’t really smell like most fish markets. I don’t mind making the trip to come here because I know it’s always fresh and of great quality! I have never bought bait here but seen many others buy it and they get great service as well.

This place has been around for ages. Always fresh off the boat shrimp & oysters. This is the best place to get your own seafood!
