Fresh and cut to your order! Definitely liked how it seemed like he only got fresh things and had a relationship with the fishermen he guys from. Didn’t have oysters but doesn’t buy farmed so no complaints there, just call and check if it’s a deal breaker for ya. We’ll go back for fish here again!

The lady was very friendly and showed us all the seafood. She explained the shrimp came off the boat last night. My kids loved seeing the live crabs. She double bagged and added extra ice.

They treated us like family here.
Visited the other seafood market place next-door to the right a few times and just felt pushed and hurried so we slipped over to this place literally 10 feet next-door and appreciated the respect, good prices and we love getting the live fresh blue crab and speaking of fresh, their shrimp is not frozen, it’s fresh.

We bought some shrimp here and it was wonderful. We bought jumbo and you can see the size next to my hand. They also had colossal which made these look tiny. We will be back to buy some red snapper as it looked very fresh. They sell that by the whole fish and one was too large for just my husband and I. The people were helpful and even provided suggested recipes.

When I showed up they were not open, but they opened early and said he will not turn away a customer. Explained what just came in that morning and went through the process. Also met Bob and Gus

The thing that got my attention with Samson and Sons was the name which I liked customer service is absolutely fantastic the guy who work there didn't catch his name he was great with us the store was very clean and fresh the blue crabs we got were the best that I've eaten since I've been down here in Galveston royster's were a little bit milky but we are going to be going back today and get more of those blue crabs they were amazing and probably some shrimp I check it Patrick is a pleasure to deal with

Loved this market! Went to Katie's market first, and while it looked nice, it was packed and had a very rushed feel. Went next door to this gem, and got great customer service and some fresh seafood! Definitely more of a small town hospitality feel. Thank you! We'll be back next vacation!

So fresh! These guys do it right! We loved the fresh shrimp and the cocktail crab claws. Yummo!!
