I just had a bad interaction with seafood connections owner Jane. I call just before closing and she answers the phone. I ask what size blue crabs to you have she replies small, medium, large, extra-large, and then she says oh I’m sorry just medium and large. And then ask her will she be able to cook them she says if you place the order now over the phone and by time you get here will be closing. And then proceeds to tell her I want one dozen of crabs she says large or extra large I said oh you have extra-large I’d like extra large please. I get to the store and it was about five people in the store at a time. My order was ready within 10 minutes .I get the bag, And look into see that she has mixed small and medium crabs and maybe two large crabs in my bag as I complain she says I am the best in town and see this is why all the people come to me you call me tomorrow and you’ll be happy . I’m not happy. This is not what you agreed to over the phone and this is not what I just paid for. The only resolution was to give my money back but you tell me all these extra large crabs…. I won’t be spending my my money with seafood connection any longer. Lesson learned Jane don’t lie to your customers because we write reviews

Very disappointed last 3xs I went they charged me for Medium crabs but gave me some Mediums mixed with small second time they gave me Mediums but had a lot of empty crabs I called complained they told me they would fix it I live 1 hr away so by the time I was back in the city for work I forgot about it 3x I just went but this time I remembered to check my bag low and behold they charged me for Mediums but it was a bag full of smalls I pulled the small crab out the bag to show her they were smalls she said they were medium ma’am if those were mediums I don’t want to see what your smalls look like mind you I always buy Mediums got my money back and left those crabs right there MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR CRABS BEFOR YOU LEAVE THEY PROBABLY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR LARGE BUT GIVE YOU MEDIUMS IF YOUR A CRAB EATER YOU WILL UNDERSTAND

Went an got number 1 crabs half dozen she said very heavy, cooked them an they sucked, my Veterans friends stay away from this place.

I guess their definition of XLg crabs is different then.... Damn near anywhere else 😂!! The size I was given they would be considered mediums at best which don't cost $55/ dozen!! I had a few Larges & the rest were tiny AF! 😠
I ONLY came here because Jae's in Wilmington was HONEST & said they only had mediums left at that time.
Jae's X larges are actually XLG so although they cost more you're actually getting what you pay for. Fooled me once

Just brought some crabs and there all almost empty inside and was charged $35 a dozen for the mediums. Will not buy crabs from there ever again. This is not the first time this has happened. I wish I could give no stars 🤬😡🤬😡

I come here to get takeout dungeness crabs cooked with the butter, garlic and old bay. Expensive but delicious!

The male owner has lost his mind I guess he figures he doesn’t have to put any respect on how he talks to customers because they still come back and patronize him. He is rude and arrogant Yells at you when you ask questions and I can’t believe we let this guy be in this community and treat people like dirt It’s not acceptable
