My husband and I recently Moved to Cape Coral from Maryland and came across Barnhill Seafood and so glad we did. Was so excited to have bought 4 dozen blue claws today making me feel right at home while watching my Commanders Football game also get the big W. The crabs were great, and heavy but more so reasonably priced compared to Maryland. It was a win win kinda day. So Now when family and friends come in town I’ll be sure to order Florida Blue Claws and have a Floridian crab feast. Thank you Barnhill you’re a great catch ?

I recently ventured 8 miles west of my home to Barnhill Seafood Market in Matlacha where I purchased two 2 lb. fresh red snappers and a pound and half of large, freshly caught Gulf pink shrimp. I also bought a nice slab of halibut which is not pictured as it's marinating to be smoked on our pellet grill later today. My wife was recently diagnosed with colorectal cancer and colitis, and although she is on a strict diet, she is allowed to eat some types of seafood. And Barnhill thankfully has those types of seafood. Although the market is small, there's a nice variety of seafood, and you know it's fresh because the store is situated a few hundred feet from the Gulf. One advantage of living so close to the Gulf is availability of fresh seafood today and every day.

fresh seafood, one of the only places to go in town. Hubby cooked up delicious squid for fresh calamari from here this summer and the key lime pie is amazing! We save one in the freezer to thaw for guests!

This place never disappoints! Super Fresh Seafood and a really cool shopping experience. This is the only place we go locally for fresh seafood and I love that they are expanding sales of other local made products. Some of the friendliest, most honest people you'll find in SW Florida. Good peeps.
