Visitamos este lugar a las 5:30 am.
Bueno, ve con paciencia. La personas trabajan dejando todo por buen pescado. Es caótico pero interesante. Si te gusta madrugar y luego correr por la bahía. Es lo que hice para conocer esta bellísima ciudad .

It is a great place to get lost in Indian fishing culture; we loved the authenticity we found there. A must-visit during your Mumbai stay if you have a chance to get a local guide to walk you around and tell you the history; you'll reward yourself with a much better experience. The whole area gives you a taste of Indian heritage

A thriving fish market and business centre for fresh seafish.
The fish market (covered with a shed) is cleaned everyday after the sale is over.
There is a police checkpost for constant vigil.
3 budget eateries are located just outside the dock for breakfast and lunch.

I really enjoyed visiting Sassoon Dock! Regardless of whether you eat fish or not, it's worth checking out how this supposedly unorganised fishing industry, has over time developed an order amidst the chaos. The seafood is fresh, affordable and the way the market operates is very fascinating! Much like the Japanese fish market, I'd urge people to visit Sassoon Dock to understand how wonderful the fishing industry is and how the market forces operate.

I ended up buying a bucket of fresh bombil, halwa(black pomfret) and Betki. My family and I relished the fresh fish!

One of the best place for the fish lover. From prawns to sword fish you will get varieties of fish here. There are auctions also for fish baskets which happen between 4.00 to 5.30 (only if you want it in a bulk quantity). I visited this place on Sunday at 5.30 but still there are a lot of rush. Remember one this if you want to negotiate, do the cold negotiation by showing your fingers (if you want it for ₹400 then show 4 fingers) that way they will give you without letting the price to others. Sunrise here is also amazing ?. Must visit this place.
