We had a great experience at La Mer Suites. The rooms are simple, but have everything you need to enjoy a long or short stay at Lauderdale-by-the-sea. A very short walk to the tourist area with lots of restaurants and bars. The location is great because you don't hear the noise of the busy street but can easily access the beach and surrounding town.

Bill was great and very helpful! We enjoyed the ease of check-in and convenient parking.

EXCELLENT vacation rental!! Bill is extremely welcoming and helpful. The rooms are very clean and renovated, 4min walk from the beach and touristic areas, free parking. They also provide beach chairs , parasols and kids toys along with a cart to transport them to the beach!! You will definitely not be disappointed

We came to Fort Lauderdale as hurricane evacuees. We appreciated the clean room as well as the friendly service. This room was functional with a kitchenette as well. The host made sure to communicate with us and helping us with our family's needs upon request.

Upon arrival, Bill in the main office was very friendly and welcoming. He gave us a tour of the property and our room especially pointing out above and beyond amenities like beach toys for the children, beach chairs, umbrellas, carts. etc. The check in and check out process was so easy and convenient (as a mom with two young kids 6 and 2 accompanying me, this was very important).

The rooms were clean and very comfortable to feel "at home" when away from home. The air conditioning kept the rooms perfectly chilled as a relief from the hot Florida sun and black out curtains were in the bedrooms to make the rooms perfect for sleeping in. The bed was super comfortable as were the pillows- which is always a questionable thing when booking a hotel.

The location was absolutely perfect with a quick easy walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, shops, etc.

I am a local Floridian and was just looking for a nice weekend getaway closer to the beach and this was perfect. I will definitely stay on this property again and would highly recommend it to anyone from out of town or local looking for a great beach vacation.

Only a 5 minute walk gets you to the beach and the activities in the village square. Room 8 is very clean and there were beach chairs and a cooler for us to use. Free parking. No stairs to climb. One thing to be aware of is the pool is shut down and not usable. However, Bill, the host, advised us we can use the pool across the street at Castle by the Sea. Which we did and it was great. Bill was an excellent host and responded quickly to all of our needs. I recommend and will stay again.

Wij verbleven 2 weken in La mer suites en hebben een geweldige tijd gehad! Bill is erg vriendelijk en reageert altijd op berichten. We konden de wasmachine en droger gebruiken, we hadden strandstoelen, parasols en speelgoed voor de kinderen. De kamer was netjes. Het strand is op loopafstand. De restaurants in Lauderdale by the sea zijn gezellig met 's avonds live muziek. Ik raad het zeker aan.

Great Place to stay- they provide chairs, towels and toys along with a cart to carry it all to the beach. The decor was Beachy- Surfboard shower at the pool, Window shutters with Palm Trees carved in, and much more. Bill was the best and very accommodating.

Great location, excellent rooms and impeccable customer service. The owner Bill will bend over backwards to accommodate whatever needs you may have. Highly recommend.
