Northshore Seafood has THE BEST fish anywhere. It is always fresh, delicious and of the highest quality. Their prices are also very good and often lower than competitors, even though their products are superior. I ♥️Northshore Fish.

I have been shopping there for more than five years and have never had a bad experience. Fish is always terrific. Service is very good. Reliable on special orders. Price is very reasonable relative to other Area options. Only taking cash is one of the ways they can keep their price is reasonable and still stay in business. Don't like buying fish anywhere else. And their lox/smoked raw salmon is truly the best anywhere. Even friends from the Pacific Northwest have said that to me.

The selection is often limited, as one would expect of a small storefront like this, but it's always interesting and diverse. The fish is always fresh, and they have other offerings, like a variety of smoked fish and seafood that they spice and smoke themselves. Finally, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. This is THE place to go for a fresh and interesting choice of seafood.

One note, however: they do NOT take credit or debit cards, so be sure you have cash! There IS a bank across the street, but it's better if you're prepared

We try to eat salmon once a week. I call in for 8 freezer ready packages ( 12 oz each). They prepare them and I pick the order up later in the day. They go right in the freezer. We pay by check. We get two bags of frozen large shrimp also. Thank God for freezers and North Shore Seafood.

Bring cash to this small fishmonger for the freshest fish in the area. Always firm filets (no pre-frozen or fish that has been sitting out too long), and you can tell by the smell and lack of. I've always noticed the difference in the resulting meal compared to the local groceries. Definitely worth the trip, especially for their individually wrapped crab cakes (we stock up)

I was at Bottle-O the package store next door. I stopped in North Shore for the first time, decided to get the Salmon from Canada because it looked so nice and fresh. I grilled it that night and it was wonderful! I will return to try the Swordfish next time. Thanks!
